Scope
From shaping the user experience to building the platform behind it, our scope covered the complete Kindness Parcel journey. We brought together event creation, guest contributions, charity donations, automated reminders, and host payouts into one seamless experience designed to feel simple, secure, and transparent.
The Challenge
The idea was beautiful, but bringing it to life needed more than a regular website. Kindness Parcel needed a platform that could handle several moving parts at once - hosts creating events, guests booking and contributing securely, charities coming on board, donations being tracked transparently, and payouts reaching hosts without friction.
Everything had to feel simple and trustworthy. If a guest found the contribution process confusing, or a host felt unsure about where the money went, the whole idea would lose its magic. The platform also promised something bold - 100% of the allocated donation goes to the charity partner - so transparency wasn't optional. It had to be built into every step.
Our Approach & Solutions
We designed and developed the platform end to end, keeping one question in front of us at every stage: would a first-time user feel comfortable doing this?
1. Website Design
We created a warm, clean design that reflects what Kindness Parcel stands for, celebration and generosity. The journey from landing on the homepage to creating an event is short, clear, and friendly.
2. Event creation & booking
Hosts can set up their Kindness Parcel in minutes - birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, office celebrations - and share it with guests, who can contribute through a secure, regulated payment gateway.
3. Host Registration
A simple onboarding flow gives every host their own dashboard to create and manage events without any technical know-how.
4. Charity creation & donations
Charity partners can be added to the platform, and hosts choose who they want to support. When guests book and contribute to an event, the donation portion is handled automatically - no manual transfers, no confusion.
5. Automated Reminders
Timely reminders keep guests informed and events on track, so hosts don't have to chase anyone.
6. Host Payouts
Once the event wraps up, hosts receive their gift fund smoothly, while the committed donation goes to the charity partner - exactly as promised.
The Result
Kindness Parcel is now live and welcoming hosts across Singapore. The platform runs the full journey on its own - from creating an event and collecting guest contributions to splitting funds between the host's gift and the charity donation. Hosts get a transparent view of their event fund, guests contribute in a few clicks with no awkward envelopes, and charities receive their donations reliably. What started as an idea is now a working movement for mindful celebration.
Conclusion
This project reminded us why we love building for purpose-driven brands. Kindness Parcel isn't just a booking platform - it's a small system of trust, where every feature had to protect a promise.
